"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"The CP sources of "Zhoghovurd" daily report that Yerevan Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan demands answers from the Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee Andranik Kocharyan for discrediting him and considering him as corrupt.
The point is that back in October, journalists asked Andranik Kocharyan if it is possible that some CP members have complaints against him, such as Hrachya Hakobyan, Tigran Avinyan, Armen Pambukhchyan, Sisak Gabrielyan.
Kocharyan claimed that he was not aware, but he remembered a specific incident related to Armen Pambukhchyan, the deputy mayor of Yerevan, when he addressed him with a problem regarding the assembly lines of the "Aragats" military industry factory, but, as it turned out later, Pambukhchyan did not solve the problem.
Andranik Kocharyan also continued. "I also read an article written about him in "Hetk" in connection with the 1.5 billion drams loan of "Spayka".
Andranik Kocharyan answered the question: Is Armen Pambukhchyan corrupt? He cannot say, because they cannot announce something until there is an investigation.
"But I am concerned about the stories related to Spyka," Kocharyan said publicly. It should be recalled that the 71-year-old father of the CP board member Armen Pambukhchyan acquired 40 hectares of land in Armavir region to establish peach orchards.
For this purpose, Pambukhchyan also received a loan of 1.5 billion drams from the bank and 102 million drams (about 270 thousand US dollars) from the state as a subsidy, a gift.
Apart from this story, according to the information of "Zhoghovurd" daily, Andranik Kocharyan confidently claimed to the police officers that he received a car from Davit Sedrakyan, the son of Yerevan Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan's ex-MP Mher Sedrakyan, and hid it from the public and his team.
"Zhoghovurd" daily turned to Armen Pambukhchyan with these questions in order to find out how true this information is, and whether Armen Pambukhchyan is going to write an application for dismissal and resign from his seat in the Yerevan Council of Elders. however, Pambukhchyan, in response to our questions, stated that the information does not correspond to reality.
Let us inform you that Armen Pambukhchyan bought a LEXUS car in 2021, while the wife of the deputy mayor bought and sold cars during the year.
In particular, the wife, Sose Baghdasaryan, who works at the Public TV Company, bought a NISSAN car worth 4 million 463 thousand AMD and a LEXUS car worth 10 million 600 thousand AMD in 2023.
The second purchase was made after a gap of 7 months. In the same year, the deputy mayor's wife sold a NISSAN car at a higher price of 1 million drams, for 5 million 432 thousand drams.
Now our colleagues see Pambukhchyan's wife going to work in a Jeep."
