Marine Le Pen, head of the right-wing "National Unity" faction of the French Parliament, has stated that if she is not allowed to participate in the elections, the next president of the state may be illegitimate. The politician's words are reported by Journal du Dimanche.

According to Le Pen, the French population simply will not trust the president, who did not allow him to have a rival in the elections. The politician also noted that he still has many opponents in France.
