The President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan left for the Swiss Confederation on November 13-15. Within the framework of the visit, the President will take part in the opening ceremony of the "CRANS MONTANA FORUM" forum and deliver a speech.
"Crane Montana" Forum is a Swiss international non-governmental organization founded in 1986. By Jean-Pascal Delamouraz (President of the Swiss Confederation 1989 and 1996, former Minister of Defense and Economy), Jean-Paul Carteron and the Prince of Liechtenstein.
The purpose of the forum is to promote direct communication between organizations, governments and politicians of different countries, as well as to ensure a high level of stability, justice and security.
It particularly emphasizes the development of international dialogue and cooperation.
The exclusive session of the current year is dedicated to the topic "Security and international relations, economic development, business and investments".
Within the framework of the working visit, the President's meetings with Director General of the World Trade Organization Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, President of the International Red Cross Organization Mirjana Spoljaric Eger, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk and other high-ranking colleagues are planned.
