Ozon launched the first fulfillment center in Armenia


Ozon announces the launch of the first fulfillment center in Armenia. The warehouse complex located in Yerevan will carry out the complete cycle of processing online orders, from receiving goods of various categories to forming parcels. The logistics facility will allow Armenian sellers to place their products and deliver them both to Russia and throughout Armenia. Previously, Ozon's Armenian logistics infrastructure included a sorting center with a total area of ​​2,000 m². In order to speed up the time of delivery of goods to Russia and the entire territory of the republic, the marketplace expanded the logistics facility by 1.5 times and launched a full online order processing cycle on it. sellers can bring their products to the marketplace warehouse, where they will be packed and stored for shipment to both Armenia and the Russian Federation. The total area of ​​the facility is over 2,500 m². At the current stage, the logistics center is able to store up to 50,000 products. The fulfillment center will be able to process up to 2000 orders per day.
"We see how fast the number of our sellers and buyers in Armenia is growing, and we work every day to improve the quality of our service for them. The launch of the fulfillment center in Yerevan will significantly speed up the order processing process, save sellers time and money spent on product packaging, and most importantly, it will ensure faster delivery of orders to our 49 million buyers," said Ashot Hakhverdyan, commercial director of Ozon Armenia. Ozon entered the Armenian market in the summer of 2023. The company started selling to the country's residents, opened a representative office and logistics center in Yerevan. The company recently launched its own courier delivery service in Yerevan. OZON marketplace has a developed logistics network. The company operates in Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as China and Turkey. The platform features 370 million products in more than 20 categories: books, clothing, food, health products, etc. Thanks to the developed cargo transportation system, more than 46 million users make purchases, and 450,000 businessmen are able to sell their goods in Russia and the CIS countries.
