"Hraparak" daily writes: The admissions for the undergraduate courses of the existing universities have already been completed. As in previous years, this year also a shameful picture was recorded at the National Agrarian University of Armenia. It has been 3 years since KGS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan and Rector Hrachya Zakoyan say that they are "saving" the Agrarian University by setting a high scholarship for superior agrarian professions.
Meanwhile, even the scholarship does not help. this year, only 68 applicants applied for 14 major agricultural specialties, instead of 98 last year. In the main stage of admission, only 20 out of 68 applicants managed to pass the admission threshold and become agrarian students.
9 more students were admitted as a result of the additional competition announced for vacant places.
By the way, this situation continues in the agricultural sector, starting from 2021, when Vardan Urutyan was the rector, whose "best" traditions are being continued by the current rector Zakoyan.
