"Hraparak" daily writes: Yesterday, the inaugural session of the "City Agreement" faction was held in the Parliament. They decided which deputy should work in which standing committee. According to the "Regulations of the National Assembly" law, all deputies must be involved in the work of the commissions, except for those holding leadership positions.
The session, however, caused deep disappointment among the old residents of the ruling faction, as it became clear from the first meeting who took the mandate. As we were told, with weak intelligence, zero political "baggage", many people have communication problems even in basic human contacts.
According to our source, the ruling faction has degraded so much that Arpi Davoyan has chosen to work in the permanent defense committee, which is one of the key committees of the National Assembly. By the way, as we informed, in recent days there have been intense discussions in the KP on which commissions to take over as a priority and what to leave to the opposition.
In the CP, they predict how they will be torn apart if they subordinate defense and security to other issues, so they will first take the chairmanship of the state legal and defense commissions, especially since they heard that in "Strong Armenia" they prefer not so much the external as the economic commission.
"The strong" also prefer the territorial management commission, considering that they will be in active contact with the local governments and will have greater chances in the upcoming elections.
And although it is not yet known how the commissions will be distributed among the parliamentarians, the "powerful" ones are looking at the former director of the HEC, Davit Ghazinyan, lawyer Ruben Mkhitaryan, as chairmen of the commissions, but everything will be decided according to the situation.
