High turnout, voting in restaurants and accusations of Russian interference. How did the second round of the presidential elections in Moldova go?

Voting has ended in the second round of the presidential elections in Moldova, in which the current president and initiator of strengthening ties with Europe, Maia Sandu, is competing with former Prosecutor General Alexander Stoianoglo - he is considered a supporter of rapprochement with Russia. Despite Sandu’s significant advantage in the first round (she received 42.4 % versus 25.9% for Stoianoglo), the intrigue here continues until the last. According to the Central Election Commission, at the end of voting the turnout was 54%, that is, about 1.6 million voters took part in the elections.
