Orban: The "road map" of the European Commission envisages Ukraine's accession to the EU by 2027

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, presented to the leaders of the European countries a road map for the financing of Ukraine, which plans to provide 800 billion dollars over 10 years and accelerate the admission of Ukraine to the EU in 2027, informed the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, who participated in the extraordinary EU summit held in Brussels.

"Yesterday evening, Ursula von der Leyen presented the roadmap for the development of Ukraine. It actually accepts all the demands of Ukraine from Brussels. Ukraine receives 800 billion dollars, accelerated admission to the EU in 2027, additional funding until 2040. We understood that," the Prime Minister wrote on Facebook. According to him, Vladimir Zelensky is currently "sitting by force, and the residents of Brussels will pay according to all instructions."

The Prime Minister confirmed that Hungary will not support this EU Commission plan. According to Orbán, in February, a national petition for signatures against the funding to Ukraine will be launched in Hungary, which will be sent to the EU leadership. "We will be able to tell Brussels: 'We are not paying,'" he concluded.
