The Moldovan opposition is holding a protest against the results of the referendum

The opposition of Moldova is holding a protest in front of the Constitutional Court building against the recognition of the results of the European referendum.

The Constitutional Court of Moldova will meet on October 31 to discuss the possible recognition of the results of the European integration referendum. Only invited persons will have access to the session hall of the Constitutional Court. Representatives of the opposition "Communist Party" and "Haghtanak" alliance are among the protesters.

"They are in a hurry to make a decision today, or at most tomorrow, by which the President of Moldova, Maya Sandu, will appeal to the public before the second round (presidential elections on November 3) to justify their failure," Diana Karaman, a member of the Alliance of Communists and Socialists, told the audience.

The Moldovan police did not allow some representatives of the opposition "Pobeda" bloc to enter the Constitutional Court building with a request not to recognize the results of the EU referendum, but later they were allowed to enter.
