"I have no conflict with Mr. Simonyan. He is the chairman of the National Assembly, I am the chairman of the Defense Committee.
Simply, the security situation prevailing in the country is such that this commission is very active.
Naturally, if the committee is active and gives quite effective discussions and results, the authority of the committee and the chairman of the committee increases.
If it bothers some people, it doesn't bother me. I have come over these waves for years, I have been in the government, in the opposition, I have been through everything. There is no need for me to feel threatened. I said, don't drive a wedge between me and Pashinyan, it's pointless," he said.
