Putin expressed hope that the West heard his words about attacks on Russia

Vladimir Putin hopes that the West has heard his signals regarding possible permission for Kyiv to launch missile strikes on Russian territory, the president stated this in an interview with Pavel Zarubin, the video was published in the journalist’s Telegram channel. “They didn’t tell me anything about this, but, I hope we heard. Because, of course, we will also have to make some decisions for ourselves,” the head of state said.
As Putin emphasized, what the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now doing is “being done by the hands of NATO officers.” Kiev has long been asking Western countries for permission to launch missile strikes on targets on Russian territory. It is now argued that such attacks are only possible on border areas. Putin said on September 12 that NATO countries are discussing not just the possibility of using Western long-range weapons by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but direct participation in the conflict. He noted that the Kiev regime is already striking Russian territory with drones and other means. When it comes to the use of Western-made high-precision long-range weapons, such operations are only possible with the participation of officers from NATO countries - only they can enter flight missions into missile systems, the Russian leader explained. In addition, such strikes involve the use of intelligence from satellites, which Ukraine does not have, he added. The President emphasized that the direct participation of the West in the conflict in Ukraine will significantly change its essence and will mean that NATO members - the United States and European countries - are at war with Russia . Moscow will make decisions based on the threats that appear before it, Putin concluded.
