As of now, no influenza virus pathogens are circulating in RA. MoH:


RA Ministry of Health informs that the season of flu and acute respiratory infections starts from the first week of October. The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health carries out monitoring in order to track the development trends of the situation caused by these diseases.

"Accordingly, the situation caused by acute respiratory infections is legal and consistent with the current season. Thus, the incidence rates of acute respiratory infections recorded in the 3rd week of October 2024 have increased compared to the previous second week of October, but are lower compared to the same period last year. It should be noted that today relatively high rates are recorded among children under 4 years of age, which make up 71% of the total cases. Currently, there are no influenza virus pathogens circulating in RA. Pathogens of other respiratory infections such as rhinovirus, bocavirus coronavirus disease (SARS-Cov-2) are circulating.

In order not to get sick with acute respiratory infections and the flu, as well as to avoid complications, get vaccinated against the flu by contacting a primary health care organization, avoid contact with patients with flu-like symptoms, if you are sick, stay at home, invite the local pediatrician, therapist or family doctor and do not self-medicate, do not use antibiotics as they are not indicated for the treatment of flu, dress for the weather, observe cough and sneeze etiquette, drink as much fluids as possible, ventilate indoor spaces frequently , observe personal hygiene," the message states.
