The biometric system in Armenia will be fully operational from November 1. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan in an interview with the Public Television.
According to her, from November 1, citizens will be able to register to receive a biometric passport.
The Minister noted that numerous service offices will operate both in Yerevan and in the regions. Offices will also be opened in two Yerevan shopping centers.
“We will also have offices in two Yerevan malls, which will bring a new culture in terms of providing public services,” Sargsyan said.
According to her, these offices will be ready for full operation from November 1.
