No one can be deprived of the right to enter his country. NKR Refugee Human Rights Union

The human rights union of the NKR refugees issued a statement.

Fundamental human rights. Right to move freely

The right to free movement is one of the fundamental human rights. It is a prerequisite for the sale of human rights. Without it, people are deprived of the opportunity to fully enjoy education, labor, healthcare, cultural and political rights.

The United Nations in 1948 Article 13 (1) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights stipulates that "everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state." And the 13th (2) stipulates that everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.

The United Nations in 1966 Article 12 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights stipulates that everyone legally has the right to move freely in the territory of the state and electing its place of residence.

No one can arbitrarily be deprived of the right to enter his own country.

The sale of free movement is of special importance in the context of refugees and displaced people, as the latter's restriction leads to depriving or restricting of many related freedoms.

In the UN Courts and Committees, an approach has been formed that arbitrary deprivation of the right to enter the country's territory is prohibited at the level of customary law and is compulsory for all states.
