President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay to Armenia To the Ormisee.
In his speech, the President stressed that one of the 200th anniversary of Uruguay and one of the greatest achievements of the people of Uruguay is that the country has removed wars and has the opportunity to develop and prosper in peace.
Ambassador Barolini thanked for the reception and warm words, assuring that all possible efforts to deepen cooperation between the two countries, in political, economic, cultural and other spheres.
During the meeting, the parties stressed the need to intensify business ties and promote new formats of cooperation. Referring to the prospects of cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and other areas, they highlighted the importance of joint initiatives and programs.
The issue of expanding cooperation in the field of information technologies was also discussed. In particular, reference was made at the end of the construction of the branch of Tumo Creative Technologies (2026) and the opening of the representation of the Uruguayan Educational Center in Armenia in Armenia.
