The NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations gave a positive conclusion to the draft law on validating the regulation of border demarcation commissions. It was included in the agenda of the upcoming NA sessions.

The project received 5 votes in favor and 3 against.

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan presented the regulation in the parliament at the session of the permanent committee on foreign relations, after which it will be included in the main agenda of the parliament on Tuesday. On September 2, the Armenian government published the draft of the ratification of the provisions on the joint work of border demarcation commissions with Azerbaijan. According to the bill, the commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan will use all maps, as well as legal documents, in the demarcation process. The regulations are drawn up in Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian languages and must be ratified by Azerbaijan as well.
