Today, on October 18, the third meeting of the "3+3" regional consultative platform started in Istanbul.

"3+3" is a regional cooperation format initiated by Turkey and supported by Russia after the 44-day Karabakh war. It assumes the participation of the three South Caucasian countries - Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan - as well as the three powers of the region - Russia, Turkey and Iran.

The foreign ministers of Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran Ararat Mirzoyan, Sergey Lavrov, Jeihun Bayramov, Hakan Fidan and Abbas Araghchi are participating in the meeting.

Mirzoyan will also have bilateral meetings in Istanbul.
