The opposition intends to come up with a proposal to form a working group on electoral reforms in the National Assembly, Artsvik Minasyan, deputy of the "Armenia" bloc, informed us yesterday. On October 16, tomorrow, the National Assembly Committee on State and Legal Affairs has convened a working discussion on the draft amendments to the EC and related laws, and Minasyan will present the proposal at that discussion, expecting that they will thoroughly discuss the changes and their necessity.
Let's remind that before the elections, the government presented a project to change the Electoral Code, with which it will try to adapt the legislation even more to the ruling power and ensure its reproduction.
