Vučić called the economy a key aspect of Erdogan’s visit to Serbia

The economy is one of the most important aspects of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Serbia, Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic said.

Erdogan arrived in Serbia on a visit on Thursday evening and was solemnly greeted at the airport by the head of the Serbian state. The official meeting of the Turkish delegation with artillery salvoes, the formation of the Serbian Guard and all members of the Serbian government took place on Friday in front of the government complex "Chamber of Serbia". After the ceremony, Vučić and Erdogan went to one-on-one talks.

"Economy is one of the key aspects of this visit. Turkey is one of the most important investors in Serbia, we will talk about new projects and investments, infrastructure projects, energy and trade, which are of great importance for our country, especially in these difficult global economic conditions ", Vucic wrote on social networks.

According to him, Erdogan's visit represents a significant step towards strengthening bilateral ties in times of challenge and strengthens the platform for future dialogue and cooperation as key factors for peace and stability in the Balkans.

The program of the Turkish President's visit on Friday also includes the signing of cooperation documents and a business forum of Turkish and Serbian companies.
