Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that the BRICS alliance was "dead" after threats to make customs duties against the Union of states if they implement their plans for the US dollar.
"China has repeatedly clarified its position on the United States, there are no winners in trade or customs wars, only the common interests of all the peoples of all countries will suffer."
Earlier, it was reported that BRICS countries discussed the possibility of expanding national currencies and creating a common currency within the block, but no final decisions were made on this issue.
