The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova responded to the words of the President of the Munich Security Conference Christophe Hoysgen and Russia to "calming down". The relevant post was published by the diplomat's Telegram channel.
During his speech at the conference, Hoycegen stated that Russia should not "calm down" because "that policy did not work in the 1930's." Zakharova offered to remember that "Who was calmed down in 1938?"
In 1938, representatives of Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy signed a contract to transfer Sudet to Germany. This deal is better known as "Munich Agreement".
