NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that the conversation between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump “gives the impression” that negotiations on Ukraine have begun.
“This clearly gives the impression that it was a successful phone call,” he said, responding to the question of whether the conversation between Putin and Trump would be the start of the negotiation process on Ukraine.
According to him, it is necessary to ensure Ukraine’s involvement in this process, as well as the solidity of future agreements.
