Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a two-day official visit to Pakistan on February 12-13, during which he will co-chair a meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Pakistan and Turkey, the Daily Sabah newspaper reported. The Turkish president’s visit to Pakistan will be part of his four-day tour, which also includes visits to Malaysia and Indonesia.
In Islamabad, the Turkish leader will discuss “the strengthening of cooperation in various fields, as well as current issues on the international agenda, from the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to the situation in Syria, as well as the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.”
It is noted that Erdogan’s previous visit to Pakistan took place in February 2020.
