Vucic said foreign countries spent 3 billion euros to overthrow him

Serbia received about 3 billion euros from abroad for the overthrow of the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vucic. The Serbian leader announced this on the Pink TV channel.

“I am simply amazed by what is being revealed, how much money was invested in my overthrow. It is said that over the past 10 years, 1.5 billion euros have been transferred from abroad. But when I started to calculate, it turned out that this amount has already reached 3 billion,” –As reported by TASS, Vucic noted.

“As soon as Serbia began to grow rapidly, they began to invest more in its destruction,” the head of state said. – And they absolutely do not care what happens to the people whom they put on the streets, provoking bloodshed and other events. It is not important for them. They have invested huge amounts of money.”

The Serbian leader noted that the attempts to destroy the republic are conditioned by the desire to undermine Serbia's freedom-loving policy, weaken the country's position in the Western Balkans, as well as "to rule the country like a puppet theater" so that only their words would be heard and implemented.

"They invested huge amounts of money, that's why we had seven months of protests. And now they thought, here it is, the end has come. And they are surprised why there is no end and there will be no end. I am telling you now, there will be no bloody revolutions, no nonsense will be done," Vucic emphasized.

Continuing the topic of the protests in the republic, the president noted that he intends to write a book in which he will present how to confront an adversary with significant financial resources.

“I will write a textbook on how to fight “color revolutions”. And I am sure that it will be one of the best-selling books in the world. I will write it myself, no one else. It will not be a book where someone will write for me, and I will just sign or something like that. I will write it myself. I will try, although I do not have great writing talent, but I can analyze and synthesize information and try to present it in an educational format,” he said.

Since November 2024, anti-government protests have been taking place in Serbia, organized by students and opposition representatives. The main reason for the protests is the tragedy at the Novi Sad railway station, which occurred on November 1 and resulted in the death of 15 people. Vučić stated that the street protests were organized by foreign special services in order to destabilize the situation in the country.
