Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has ordered the country's defense forces to be prepared for any scenario related to the violation of the Gaza Strip deal by the Palestinian Hamas movement.

"Hamas' announcement to suspend the release of Israeli hostages is a complete violation of the ceasefire and the hostage deal. I have ordered the IDF to prepare for any possible scenario in Gaza and to protect the settlements. We will not allow the events of October 7 to be repeated," Katz said.
