Czech Defense Ministry to check legality of drone deliveries to Ukraine

The Czech military police have begun checking the legality of the supply of FPV drones to Ukraine. This is reported by Eadaily, citing local media.

This concerns the Czech campaign "Drony Nemesis", which purchased unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with real-time video transmission for the Ukrainian army. The funds for the purchase were raised by the "D Group" association, under the auspices of the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Army Karel Rzegka and Czech actor Ondřej Vetký. The initial goal was to purchase and send 10,000 FPV drones to Ukraine. More than 8 million euros were raised within the framework of the "Drony Nemesis" campaign.
According to Czech media, the military police are investigating suspicions that servicemen from the army's special forces unit illegally participated in the transport of UAVs without the consent of parliament, using diplomatic passports obtained in a non-standard way.
Czech Defense Minister Jana Černohová considers it normal to investigate how the Nemesis drones purchased with Czech

donations reached Ukraine.

Recall that Russia has been conducting a "special military operation" in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. The Czech Republic condemns Russia's actions and provides military and other assistance to Kiev.
