"Fact" daily writes:
Yesterday it became known that during the February 11 session of the Yerevan Council of Elders, the possibilities of reviewing the logic of applying public transport tariffs will be discussed.
In particular, AMD 2,000 will be set for a package of 10 trips, and the period of use will be 45 days, instead of the current AMD 2,200 and 30 days.
The period of use of a 300 dram ticket will be 180 minutes, instead of the current 90 minutes. There will also be changes in the following packages. 1 day - 900 AMD: unlimited trips instead of the current limit of 8 passengers, 7 days - 5000 AMD: unlimited trips instead of the current limit of 30 passengers.
According to "Past" newspaper, however, this list is not final, and other changes will be announced in the near future.
Moreover, according to our information, this was the unique "policy" of Tigran Avinyan.
In other words, they initially presented the previous version, then they made certain "concessions", actually predicting the expected wave of dissatisfaction and leaving room for certain discussions, proposals and changes.
By the way, according to our information, in the near future Yerevan Municipality plans to present to the public the grounds on which they will be fined 50,000 drams for traveling without a ticket.
The city government is determined in this matter, thinking that otherwise, transport collapses may occur in Yerevan at the hands of the same citizens.
