Iran has suspended all flights to Syria until January 22

Iranian airlines have canceled all flights to Syria until January 22, as air traffic between the two countries has not been agreed with the new authorities in Damascus. As TASS agency informs, Hossein Pourfarzane, the head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization, announced this.

"Currently, flights to Syria are banned until January 22, but there are no restrictions regarding Lebanon," Pourfarzane said.

As the official noted, in order to resume air traffic, it is necessary to obtain permission from the other country. The situation is the same in the case of Egypt.
