Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean President Yoon Seok-yol agreed to deepen cooperation with NATO, and they called the relations between Russia and North Korea a "serious threat". According to "Armenpress", this was reported by Kyodo agency. During the bilateral talks held in Washington, the two leaders confirmed that they will strengthen cooperation with the USA, NATO and partners in the Indo-Pacific region, taking into account that "regional issues are becoming have more complex and deeper consequences," Japanese officials said. Kishida and Yoon Sok Yeol also noted that the deepening of relations between Pyongyang and Moscow is a serious threat. According to the leader of South Korea, the strengthening of North Korea's military and economic cooperation with Russia "causes serious concern for global security, especially for East Asia". During the visit of the Russian President to North Korea, the parties signed an agreement, according to one of the provisions of which, in case of an attack on one of the countries, the other side must provide assistance. The summit dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of NATO takes place in Washington from July 9 to 11. Delegations of all 32 member states of the alliance, as well as Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and Ukraine, are participating in the three-day summit.
