However, this does not prevent the coalition of Left parties from demanding the post of prime minister. Representatives of one of the parties of the alliance, France Invictus, demonstrated in the center of Paris and demanded that the president of the republic allow them to govern the country. The ruling centrist forces in the second place reminded that no bloc has an absolute majority in the parliament, therefore it has no right to make such demands. According to the representative of the "Together for the Republic" bloc, "with this election, the French sent a clear signal that they do not want any specific political bloc to have an absolute majority in the parliament, so they ordered to listen to each other and work together."
