The opposition MPs refused to go to India as part of the delegation headed by Alen Simonyan

Within the framework of the planned official visit to India as part of the delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, an invitation was sent to opposition "Armenia" faction MPs Lilit Galstyan, Garnik Danielyan, Levon Kocharyan and "Pativ Tanut" faction MP Anna Mkrtchyan, but they refused.

This was reported by the press secretary of the NA Speaker, Movses Harutyunyan, referring to the statement of Artur Khachatryan, deputy of the "Hayastan" faction, that Alen Simonyan does not include opposition deputies in his outbound visits.

Harutyunyan assured that, as always, this time too, on behalf of the RA NA Speaker, there was an invitation to several opposition MPs, who, however, refused to go to India without a specific reason.

"Particularly, within the framework of the planned official visit to India, an invitation was sent to MPs Lilit Galstyan, Garnik Danielyan, Levon Kocharyan and Anna Mkrtchyan, all of whom refused without serious justification," he wrote.

The delegation led by the Chairman of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, will be sent to New Delhi on an official visit from December 15 to 20. The delegation includes deputies of the "Civil Agreement" faction, Sisak Gabrielyan, Aren Mkrtchyan and Lilit Stepanyan.
