Human rights defender Ruben Melikyan, reacting to the statement of KP MP Hakob Aslanyan, writes:
"KP MP Hakob Aslanyan has announced that he is suspending his membership in the CP faction for one month.
He demands to form a commission regarding Aghazaryan and if Aghazaryan's guilt is not proven, he will leave the faction altogether.
It must be admitted that in the context of this ugliness towards his colleague, Aslanyan shows a dignified attitude.
If we add to this fact the rather sober and moderate evaluations and comments of another Communist Party member, Vladimir Vardanyan, it becomes clear that people in the Communist Party are beginning to understand very important truths.
For example, the fact that we are not their enemy, and the actual enemy is the one who introduces enmity - if you want, say "anti" or not, say whatever you want."
