American film director Sean Baker's film "Anora", in which Armenian actors Karen Karagulyan and Vache Tovmasyan also starred, was nominated for the prestigious "Golden Globe" award, reports The Guardian.

The film was nominated in the categories "Best Musical or Comedy", "Best Actress", "Best Supporting Actor", "Best Director", "Best Screenplay".

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards will be held on January 5. The film about a dancer married to the son of a Russian oligarch won the Palme d'Or award at the 77th Cannes International Film Festival.
