Who participated in the session of the council on issues of support for forcibly displaced Artsakh citizens?

"I participated in the session of the public council on the issues of support for those forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.

Today, the regular session of the public council formed under the RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures for the support of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh was held, which was chaired by the Minister of Economic and Social Development, Davit Khudatyan, the chairman of the council. The minister welcomed the members of the council and expressed confidence that the consolidation of their efforts will lead to visible results, and they will be able to ensure an increase in the quality of life of the displaced compatriots. 2 issues were included in the agenda of the session. The first question to be reported was related to the state support programs for ensuring employment. The issue was presented by Ruben Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. The second question referred to the current situation of the state support program for providing housing to families forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, which was reported by Anna Zhamakochyan.

Ruben Sargsyan, the RA Deputy Minister of ASD, informed that at the moment, according to the data provided by the SRC, 25,000 displaced persons have registered jobs.

"There are currently two forms of job security through the Ministry of Labor and Employment: directly through the employer and in the form of work practice, training," said the Deputy Minister of ASD of the Republic of Armenia.

Anna Zhamakochyan, Deputy Minister of ASR of the Republic of Armenia, speaking about the state support program for providing housing to families forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, noted that at the moment they are trying to improve it in several directions. They refer to the surfaces of residential areas to be purchased, to be built, to increase the amount of land to be purchased for building a house, to define the minimum area of ​​the plot.

Nelly Davtyan, the newly appointed head of the migration and citizenship service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, also attended the council session.

The members of the Council expressed their views and suggestions on the reported issues. The question-and-answer session was extended."
