Artak Grigoryan announced his retirement from football.
“Dear fans, Every good thing that has a beginning also has an end.
As you already know, I have decided to end my football career, which was full of many memorable events, successes and disappointments, difficulties and victories, constant struggle and achievements. I want to thank all the coaches who trained me during these many years, from the first to the last.
I have learned a lot from each of them, as a footballer and as a person. I am grateful to my teammates, without whom I would not have achieved even half of what I have achieved. I have played alongside many high-class footballers both in the clubs and in the national team, many of whom I have formed friendships with off the pitch. Playing for the national team has always been my dream.
I am happy if I was able to somehow contribute to the victories of our team.
Playing in the national team jersey is the most special feeling that can be in any football player's life. I want to give a special thanks to our fans.
I hope and am sure that I will finish my football career only as a football player. I will be happy to contribute to the development of our football. See you later," he wrote on Facebook.
