Ishkhan Saghatelyan, head of the Armenia-Syria friendship group of the RA NA, issued a statement.
"The situation in the friendly Syrian Arab Republic, particularly in the Armenian-populated city of Aleppo, is extremely worrying.
Yesterday and today, I had a phone conversation with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to Armenia Mrs. Nora Arisyan, Vrezh Yagupyan, Public Relations Officer of the Presbytery of Berio Armenian Diocese, Maria Gabrelyan, Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Syria.
On behalf of myself and the structure of ARF Armenia, I expressed support to the friendly people of Syria and Syrian Armenians, who in these difficult days are facing another aggression provoked by terrorist forces and centers, expressing confidence that the Syrian Arab Republic will overcome this challenge."
