RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan will visit Helsinki at the invitation of Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen. Mirzoyan will be in Helsinki on November 28-29.
This is stated in the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland. It is noted that the foreign ministers will discuss Armenia-Finland bilateral relations, relations between Armenia and the European Union, the upcoming presidency of Finland in the OSCE and regional issues.
"Finland and Armenia have good bilateral relations.
Foreign Minister Mirzoyan's visit will provide an opportunity to discuss closer cooperation.
Finland strongly supports Armenia's efforts to get closer to the European Union and encourages the country to continue on the path of democratic development," said Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen.
During the visit to Finland, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will also meet with the country's President Alexander Stub, Parliament Speaker Yusi Halla-Aho and Minister of European Affairs and Property Affairs Joakim Strand.
