A new bill on migrants has been submitted to the Russian State Duma

A bill has been submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, which prohibits the admission of children of migrants who do not know Russian to schools. This was announced by the chairman of the lower house of the parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, RIA Novosti reports.

"The bill on the ban on enrolling children of migrants who do not speak Russian in Russian schools has been submitted to the State Duma," Volodin noted.

We are talking about mandatory testing of the children of migrants to check their knowledge of the Russian language before entering school. In addition, there was a proposal to check the legality of their families' stay in Russia.
