On November 9, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid bin Mohammed al-Ansari said that the country's leadership had decided to suspend mediation efforts aimed at a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip due to the lack of commitment on the part of the parties to the conflict to end it.
