When real peace is achieved, Yerevan and Baku can abandon mutual claims. Nikol Pashinyan said this during an interview with Public TV.
Pashinyan responded to the journalist's observation that during the ratification of the Rome Statute, it was mentioned that it would be possible to file criminal lawsuits against Azerbaijan in the International Criminal Court, but this could be ruled out in the event of a peace treaty. At the same time, Azerbaijan continues to file lawsuits against Armenia.
"If we realistically see that we reach peace and sign an agreement, then we can go to a deal, neither RA will file a lawsuit against Azerbaijan in the International Criminal Court, nor against our country, regarding the events that happened before." Pashinyan said.
