"Barcelona" intends to sign a new contract

Catalan "Barcelona" is considering the possibility of signing a new contract with 34-year-old Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, Marca reports.

Despite the fact that Szczesny has not played a game since joining the Catalan club in October, Barcelona have been pleased with his level of professionalism and how he has accepted the role of the team's back-up goalkeeper.

The former goalkeeper of the Polish national team came to the Catalan club with a positive attitude and has a good influence on the team's players.

After a serious injury to Barcelona's main goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Szczesny resumed his career and signed a contract with the Spanish vice-champion. Szczesny's contract runs until July 1, 2025.
