In Sweden, the minister was informed about the "world's strangest phobia".

Sweden's Minister of Gender Equality, Paulina Brandberg, forbids bringing bananas to the events she attends. The minister has "bananaphobia", writes Expressen newspaper.

"Gender equality minister Paulina Brandberg suffers from 'the world's strangest phobia' - 'bananaphobia'".

Because of this, the employees make sure in advance that there are no bananas in the places where the minister will visit. According to the media, the minister confessed about his phobia earlier on social networks. The publication considered excerpts from the letters of Brandberg's employees.

For example, before the meeting with the speaker of the parliament, the assistants of the minister asked to remove the banana from the area. "There will be a cake with the coffee, and we will make sure that there are no bananas in it, but there are fruit baskets in the neighboring rooms and corridors," the publication quotes the parliament's reply.
