The third President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has been placed under a restraining order. Euromedia 24 was informed by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

Sargsyan was summoned to the Anti-Corruption Committee on August 25 as part of the criminal proceedings against Robert Kocharyan. He was questioned at the committee, then left the building.

Serzh Sargsyan has previously been placed under a restraining order in various criminal proceedings.

In particular, in March 2025, this restraining order was placed against him as part of the criminal proceedings regarding the land plots adjacent to Isakov Avenue and the Yerablur Military Pantheon.
