German Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Economy Robert Habeck announced his readiness to lead the list of the "Greens" party in the upcoming Bundestag elections.

"I will run as a candidate of the Greens," Habek said and added that he will appeal to the party in this matter.
He emphasized that he is ready to contribute his experience, strength and responsibility, and even put forward a candidacy for the position of chancellor.
"If you want, I am also ready for the post of chancellor," he said. Habek noted that the decision, however, remains in the hands of the voters.
"Only you can decide this," emphasized the German vice-chancellor.
