The member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) continue to consider Armenia as an ally of the organization, the general secretary of the organization, Taalatbek Masadikov, stated.
He reminded that the CSTO member states have repeatedly confirmed their readiness to discuss with Yerevan without exception all the issues related to the resumption of full participation of the Armenian side in joint work.

Being a supporter of Armenia's active membership in the CSTO, I should mention that either they are not completely sincere in the CSTO, or they do not understand the essence of the problem.
Many times I myself have told our CSTO partners that the Armenian society has questions for you and is not satisfied with the CSTO's response during the Azerbaijani aggression towards Jermuk in 2022.
But once again, during another interview, representatives of the CSTO or CSTO member states claim that the CSTO had no authority to intervene in military operations in Artsakh.
It is not related to Artsakh that our society has issues with the CSTO. The actual ineffective action or inaction of the CSTO is related to the Azerbaijani attack on the sovereign territory of Armenia in September 2022.
Regarding Artsakh, our society has questions not with the CSTO, but with Russia

As long as the problems are covered up and the parade of formal statements continues, the RA-CSTO gap will continue, which is not in the interests of either RA or CSTO at all," Sharmazanov wrote.
