The Food Safety Inspection Body, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health (NDCPC), based on the report received from the SNOC, started monitoring at the "Bamboo" bar-restaurant (Yerevan, Azatutyan Avenue 2/2). three people were taken to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of acute intestinal infection after eating in this public food facility.
During the control, it was found that the bar-restaurant does not comply with the sanitary and hygienic norms defined by legal acts, in particular:
certain parts of the kitchen wall did not have a smooth surface, were not kept in a new condition, were not made of waterproof, non-absorbent, washable, disinfectable materials,
ceilings and upper supports in some areas are not constructed in such a way as to prevent or reduce the accumulation of dirt and the possibility of particles falling out;
the food processing table and the refrigerator shelf, which are in direct contact with the food, were not made of materials that meet the hygiene requirements.
The production activity of the bar-restaurant was suspended, and a deadline was set for eliminating the detected violations.
Samples of the food available at the public catering point were taken and submitted for laboratory examination. results will be published.
