The United States does not want an economic or military conflict with China, as it would lead to a disaster for both countries and the entire world, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.
"Any conflict between the United States and China, whether economic or, God forbid, military, would be disastrous for both countries and the world," he said in an interview with Fox News.
Rubio added that Washington "must manage" this situation without sacrificing its own interests. "This is the complexity of foreign policy. every administration has to find a balance between these two opposing forces," he concluded.
