Attempts to quickly defeat Iran and force capitulation are unrealistic, said Rezai, the representative of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament.
According to Rezaei, the speaker of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament, any attempt to deliver a quick and crushing blow to the country, as well as to force its capitulation, is completely illusory.
He noted that if attacked, Tehran's response will be so destructive that it will "return the entire region and its infrastructure to the Stone Age".
The Iranian official also urged potential adversaries "not to do any stupid actions", stressing that avoiding aggressive steps is in their own interests and will prevent catastrophic escalation.
