The project adopted in the first reading states:
"If the state of martial law or state of emergency is declared after the moment of summarizing the preliminary results of the elections of the National Assembly or local self-government bodies and validating them with the minutes, until, respectively, the formation of the newly elected National Assembly, the formation of the council of elders, or the submission of the results of the elections with the majority electoral system to the governor, then a state of martial law or state of emergency will be declared from that moment, the electoral process is considered suspended by law, with the exception of the special cases provided for in this article regarding the stages of the electoral process following the moment of summarizing the preliminary results of the election voting and validating them with the record.
In other words, it works, the elections can be held, then if the results are not satisfactory, they will be canceled and new elections will be held.
CP members create guarantees for their future reproduction by various methods and insure themselves in advance so that if the results of the elections are not what they want, they will not be published.
It's a very "democratic" approach."
