31 people have been detained on suspicion of burning on forest fires in Turkey, 10 of whom have been arrested and 10 were temporarily released under judicial control.
This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to him, 1516 forest fires have taken place in the country since June 1, 1507 of whom have been under control. About 150 aircraft, 25,000 people and about 6,000 land cars take part in the fire repayment.
"Some fires in different states have been taken control. 9 Fire is still going on, the fire extinguishing continues. We use 27 aircraft, 105 helicopters and 14 drones to fight the situation. About 6,000 water cannons, cars and ambulances have been launched. In addition, our 25,000 heroes work on fires. Our planes and helicopters totaled 10,260 flights, throwing 33,200 tons of water, "he said.
